Evan joined MFI in 2015, specializing in tenant and landlord representation throughout the Maryland, Washington D.C. and Virginia markets. In 2019, Mr. Albert led the opening of MFI's Washington DC office where he further expanded the firm's reach into the DC region allowing MFI to better serve its clients in the market. He has overseen the expansion of local, regional and national tenants, assisting them in site selection, analytics and deal negotiation. Evan’s expertise includes the leasing of ground up shopping centers, anchor leasing, in line retail, urban high streets and pad site development. Mr. Albert received his Bachelors of Science in Management with Specialization in Entrepreneurship from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. Mr. Albert currently sits on the board of The Associated Real Estate Industry Group and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. In 2021, Mr. Albert was selected to head XNow, the division of XTeam Retail Advisors dedicated to advancing the careers of the next generation of retail brokers within XTeam. Mr. Albert's work was recognized by CoStar, awarding him the Power Broker award in 2017 and 2019. Additionally, Connect Media awarded Mr. Albert their 2020 Next Generation award and Top Broker of 2020.
